Estimator

Role

We are looking for an outgoing, detail oriented individual to fill an Electrical Estimator position. Based in Atlanta, this candidate should demonstrate the ability to represent Eckardt professionally in not only the field, but the office as well.


Key Result Areas

  • Estimate competitively and successfully in both traditional and design-build projects
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships throughout a project
  • Lead all aspects of the delivery process efficiently and effectively
  • Display the ability to not only work with your team, but independently as well

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator
  • Proven track record bidding successful projects
  • Bachelors degree (preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of the electrical code
  • Experience in design-build and traditional projects
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Commercial Electrician

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain various types of electrical systems that include, but are not limited to:
    • Lighting & receptacles
    • Motors
    • Power distribution
    • Temporary power
    • Grounding systems

Role Requirements

  • 3+ years of electrical experience
  • Must pass a background test
  • Must pass a drug-test

Project Manager

Purpose of Position

The overall purpose of this role is to build great projects and grow customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contract management that includes:
    • Developing schedule of values
    • Timely billing
    • Accurate forecasting
  • Customer development
  • Prioritize safety on all projects
  • Managing schedules & meeting deadlines
  • Lead team meetings
  • Creating project plans
  • Accurate productivity tracking

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction
  • Degree preferred
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, team management, and motivational skills
  • Experience leading and managing successful projects

Virtual Construction Drafter

Purpose of Position

The overall purpose of this position is to transfer information from a 2D format of layout-drawings to a 3D model and coordinate that 3D model for the production of installation drawings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Modeling layout drawing provided by coordinators into a Revit format. Modeling will include but is not limited to the following:
    • Conduit systems
    • Electrical equipment
    • Light fixtures
    • Clearances
    • Hangers
  • The modification of a model as changes occur with coordination
  • Annotating and creating installation drawings from various models

Qualifications & Special Skills

  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in Autodesk Revit
    (Similar experience in AutoCAD is applicable if open to learning Revit)
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be focused and detail oriented
  • Experience in the electrical industry is a plus
